Which choke is best for duck, 10 ga. steel shot

I'm shooting a 10 guage, steel shot, BB and #2 both in steel. Which choke would you suggest for duck hunting? IC or Mod.?

I don't offer this as a suggestion, but with my particular firearm, the Remington semi-auto, I've had better results with the IC than with anything tighter; steel patterns so much tighter than lead. I do keep my shots at 30 yards or less - that steel is such crap. I've taken hundreds of ducks since its use was mandated, and except for one which traveled up the alimentary canal, I've yet to find a single pellet which penetrated into the body cavity. So I use the #2 at the close range and generally manage a head / neck or wing hit which will bring the bird down. Versus #5 or #6 lead which would give me clean kills in 12 gauge out to 45 yards. Repeat: steel is such crap.

I use the Mod. choke,12ga.3 or 31/2" HEVI SHOT.No
problems if I do my part!! Great penetration!!

IC is a good all around choice, modified if your shots are a little longer, although I've used both with success. As for penetration, I've cleaned geese that had pellets that busted through the breast bone. I only breast em out, so thats the best I can offer ya, but I've had the pellets definitly make it into the body cavity...using BBB...
