proper part description please?
Dear Experts,
I just put a 4x scope on my Marlin model Golden 39A .22 LR and immediately had a problem. The scope interfers with letting the hammer down after cocking the gun. I have seen a devise/part that attaches to the hammer and allows the hammer to be dropped from one side or the other but have no idea what the part is called. I looked through the Brownell's catalog index with no luck. Does anyone know what this part is called and where to get one? Thanks

Bingo 4 wheeler, I guess my brain had vapor lock. I found one on page 8 of my old Brownell's catalog. There are several hammer extensions, one model for pre 1982 Marlins and one for post 1982 Marlins, now all I have to do is figure out which one fits the 39A model. Thanks and happy holidays to all.
