    many different ways are possible. the most common is a button or a lever that is flipped to activate the back trigger to act as both bbl up and bbl down, which is usually a rifle.
    on this gun, im lead to believe that the front trigger is a mechanical trigger, meaning it clicks twice if pulled. bang bang left and right.
    the back trigger is probably a s.a. trigger firing just the bottom. btw.........nice gun. i like them!

    OK, if the front trigger controls the upper barrels, does that mean this does not have the ability to select which side (R or L) fires first like an over/under? Is the selector switch on the tang a safety?...if so does it work for both triggers?

    it can still have that option in the form of a selector switch somewhere on the gun. like most old guns, its could be inside the trigger guard, on the trigger itself, on top of the grip, etc....so yes, selecting can still be an option.

    It does have what appears to be a safety on the wrist, and barrel selection may be controlled with that as well as safe/on safe/off. My Italian superposeds do it that way.

    Appreciate the replies....I've got a couple of Browning Superposes where the tang safety moves forward and back, then slides from side to side for barrel selection....saw this picture and was curious how it was set up...Thanks.

    The guy who builds that gun is a poster on the gunshop.com double gun site. The guys on that site should be able to fill you in. They know all about drillings.
