What is your opinion?

I purchased a NAA Mini in .22 LR. 1&5\8" bbl. I am very impressed with the fit and finish with this little revolver. I have not shot it yet but expect close range accuracy at best. What are your experiences/opinions with these revolvers?

    I had one of the tiny little ones that mounted on the included belt buckle. In my opinion they are nothing more than a novelty as being single-action one would have a hard time using it in a CCW role, however, it is very concealable. In my experience, your synopsis is correct, "close range accuracy at best". I used to joke that if the barrel wasn't touching it, then the bullet wouldn't touch it either. [}:)]
    They are fun to play with and I will agree the finish is nice on them. Also, if you are in need of a snake gun, shooting .22lr shotshells really works well in the little gun as there isn't hardly enough rifling to really sling the pellets outward like a normal length pistol would do.

    Very well made. Only parts I have ever seen break are the carbon steel mainspring or the grips.

    20 yr old weapons look just like new ones if you take care of them.

    The local sheriff carries one in .22 mag as do a number of people. Good close range tote.

    If you're looking for a tiny hold-out weapon, get a derringer in .45 Colt. At very close range, you are only going to have the one shot; it should be a stopper. JMHO.

    For a pocket / tackle box snake killer, the .22 NAA works well. I've no personal experience with it, but I know several people who've been quite happy using it in this role. My .45 derringer also accepts .410s and which will do a real number on snakes (sorry, He Dog) at need.

    Otherwise, in my view (worth at most $0.02) it is more a novelty than anything else.
