Remington .338 Bolt Action Rifle

I am considering buying and wanted peoples opinion. The gun sell for 449.95. What do you think about the gun and the price?

    Remingtons are good, but for another $100 you can get a new Browning Stalker with BOSS in .338 win mag. Just do a search for "Browning BOSS 338"

    I have a Remington in 338 Very acc. with all bullet weights, On Brownings be carefull, pick one up they come with 26" barells and with the Boss they are real barell heavy, and the triggers are NOT adjustable. Good Luck, It's a great Caliber fer Elk and such.

    I bought a Ruger m77/MKII .338 mag.. in the mid 80's,,, Never had any problems except I never lke the Allweather stock,, This summer I finaly change it to Boyd's laminated stock. What a perfect match... Would never give it up!!!

    I had a ruger M77 in a .338 win mag. Had hand loads made in a 175 gr Barnes X and 180 gr nosler partitions. Excellent caliber and the ammo was fast and accurate. Not affected by wind very much and flat shooting. Price is good. I would say you made a good choice.

    Travis, Nosler does not and never did make a 180 grain Partition in 338 caliber. Smallest they make is a 210.
