    Definately not set up how it was designed. Is the set screw that holds the trigger assy to the bottom of the reciever tight? make sure the stock isn't contacting the trigger assembly any where and putting it in a bind. Did the problem just start after the rifle came back from the stockmaker? Did it work OK before?

    this happens with the side safty trigger assy. on some mausers. you have to (either or both) bend the safty lever to clear the bolt shroud or remove some metal from the bottom right side of the shroud.
