[xx(] not to say they're not some that work ok out there ,but do you really want to try to shoot a 410 in a gun that small you can't even get more than some of your fingers around ..mostly they are "cute" but a waste of money you could spend on a "real" firearm.Far be it from me to tell you not to buy one if you have the money for a "cute little toy " to play with,....BUT PLEASE don't consider it for a carry peice. When in doubt they make good fishing sinkers...[:D] if you want small look at the little .32 Tomcat

American used to Roar like Lions for Liberty- Now they Bleat like Sheep for Security.

Reeaally! I'm with Chaser11! Derringers (and I own one) are really an inferior weapon. Their main function is as a hideout personal defense weapon, but nowdays there are so many small pistols and revolvers that do it better...! Most derringers are two shot affairs with minimal, if any, sights. The threat had better be up close, and since you have to cock the hammer, don't count on getting a second shot off. If personal defense is not your goal (I noted the .410/.22 specification) and you're thinking what a great outdoors gun this would make for fishing trips, etc., then you might want to rethink the situation and consider a small .38 revolver with alternating cylinder chambers loaded with CCI snakeshot and regular ammo. Not much larger, better sights, lightweight, concealable, many times more effective.

I have a derringer. They are crap weapons. Avoid buying one. You will be disappointed.

Sure, we're probably not talking "Hi-Tech" here, but the Cobray/Leinad derringer is really pretty well made and functions well.
I have a problem with starlings flocking around the cattle waters
and feeders, soooooooooo out comes the little 410 with #9 skeet loads and at "close" range it's amazing how many I've killed in one shot.
For less than a hundred bucks, I've had a lot of fun with it.
T.K. you can email me @springcreek@mynra.com
