Contact a military base in your area. Or any base that you know of. The honor guard at my base will travel anywhere in the country to attend a service, I have been told. The Navy will only use the M-14 at honor guard services. So you may want to try the Army or Marine Corps Bases that you know of. They all have web sites, with contact information. If you can't get ahold of them, let me know who you want to get ahold of and I can reach someone who will be able to help you out.

And I almost forgot to say thank you for doing this for your fellow country men. I am sure that one day when I am laid to rest at Arlington, a good man like yourself will be there to oversee it.

our local vfw has m-1 garands, that were modified to funcion as straight pull bolt actions. they obtained them from the army (fort MacCoy). not to difficult to put back to semi-auto operation. i don't think you will find any m16 type rifles that will only work with blanks, and certainly not from the government. you could buy ar-15 type rifles and equip them with the blank fireing adaptor, this takes $$$.

We had the same problem with an American Legion Club... Now they have Rem. 870 pumps in 410. Stocks are black and white slings. And VERY lite to carry... Cost to make a BLANK 410 is less than 5 cents. The Post sold the old guns, bought the 870's... and put about $2000.00 in the bank[:)]

It will hurt you, More than it will hurt me..

    Thanks for all the help!
