    There are three major variations of Remington Rands which collectors refer to as Types, I, II, and III...plus a couple of sub types. Which variations you have is important because the values can increase by as much as 100% between a Type I and a Type III.

    Mark, I know at least two are type 3 slides. I don't have them in hand right now to look at all of them. I just want to make sure that I don't give one away for pennies on the dollar.

    And, what is the finish? Original, arsenal repark, commercial repark? Percent of finish remaining?

    I suspect most folks looking to buy a slide are trying to match the frame of a Mixed Parts Mongrel (like I did).

    Neal! How do you put pictures in your posts? This would help me alot with getting my garand question answered. The slides are all about 70% original finish I believe.
