    My Colt book show that serial no. as being made in 1913. I have one that was made in 1920. Value will be hard to pin down without good pictures. I paid $275 for mine 2 years ago. It had some pitting around the side plate and needed grips and a swivel. I think I got a good deal on it. I bought mine as a shooter as it was tight and had a very good bore.

    I think we will need to pin it down a little better as to exactly which variation you've got, but given 80% condition a Commercial Model New Service is worth $995 according to the newest Blue Book. A 1917 Civilian/Commercial in 80% is worth $625. Seems a little high to me, but that's what it says.[8D]
