single action question

Just picked up a 5 shot single action revolver marked 38 AVENGER NY on the top of the frame & EXP. in another. Looks like it shoots 38 rimfire. Anyone have an idea on the value? Thanks for any help. Bobby-

  Got a reference that says it was made by Hopkins & Allen in the 1880's. Since they were located in Norwich Conn. and the revolver has a N.Y. address it might have been made as a "Store Brand" or a "Hardware" gun?
  
  When you have a Suicide Special the most important thing that affects the value is the cosmetics i.e. the condition.
