Stoney Point target turrets

Can anyone give a rating of these things, they look interesting. I know that for the common hunter they are not needed but do they work well? I am a common hunter but I'd like to have a little more reassurance than just guestimation on long shots.

    Also, some people have told me that the scope wont adjust by just turning the dials. They told me that I have to tap on the tube a little to make it adjust after turning the dials.

    Darrell, EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!! Have never had to "tap" on the scope using them but then agin only used them on Leupolds! Great way to add target turrets to a scope! MIDWAY had a special on them back in August...39.95/set! Should have bought some extras! Try them, you'll like them! GHD

    I have a set and a bunch of Leupold Vari-XII scopes. Found the turret knobs to be very handy in re-sighting in my scopes when switched from rifle to rifle. Don't leave them on afterwards, as they really bulk up the scope tube on these hunting rifles. If used for varmits or benchrest shooting it would be fine to leave them on.

    Yep, they are pretty spendy, but work well. In fact I have not tried any Stony point product that does not work well.
