M1 30 cal carbine

Any info on a paratrooper model with folding wire stock that has a barrel marked "BLUE SKY, ARLINGTON VA." Can't make out crossed cannon markings but serial number is clear and readable. What does Blue Sky Arlington, refer to?

  that was the importer... look on the receiver (under the sight if necessary) for receiver manufacturer... look on the bbl for bbl manufacturer, etc...

  These were guns that had been given to the Koreans. Although there were some good ones, most had been used & abused. Import marked M1 carbines tend to sell for $50-100 less than an unmarked USGI carbine in comparable condition.
  
  It most likely had a regular wood stock when imported. Numerous manufacturers offered various versions of folding/telescoping stocks that fit carbines. In the (unlikely) event that it is a USGI stock, it is worth far more than the rest of the carbine. We would need to see photos to be sure.
