  All pre 64 Mod 70 Actions were the same length. It was the magazine box and mag well that differed. The 22 hornet used a special shortened box. The 243,308 sized cartridges used the next size up. The 270, 30-06 had their box, and the Magnums had the largest box in addition to having the mag well enlarged.Love them Pre 64's!!!-Bob
