45-1911 optics
Looking for options to mount a red dot on a 1911 gun without drilling and tapping the slide or lower frame. What results has anyone had with a non-drilled mount? What type is recommended?
I'm attempting to use a new Dan Wessen Pointman as a "wad gun" for Bullseye until I can afford a Clark or Les baer and know what I truely need, but I want to remove the sight method and go back to iron after I purchase another weapon.
As always, your advise will be valuable.

get an old fashioned grip mount. works fine. takes a little getting use to the cycling action, with it in the way, but its manageable. try it. 0
