7mm BR Rem

I got some brass from a purchase of components that is new and states on the box that it is "7mm B.R. Rem". In measuring this, it appears that this is the same as the 7mm-08. Is it the same? Is it worth putting on GB for a few boxes?

Also got some .223 brass that was expanded up for a 7mm bullet. What in the world could this be? Any value?

Much of the equipment and components were set up for silhouette shooting if that helps.

    If I am understanding what you typed, correctly, then it appears that someone put 7mm-08 brass in boxes marked for the 7mm BR Rem.

    7mm BR. Rem length is 1.520"/ .473" rim/ .470" head.

    7mm-08 Rem. length is 2.035"/ .473" rim/ .470" head.

    Use this link to check the rest of the dimensions just to be sure.

    Click on the cartridge name and a drawing with dimensions comes up.

    As to the 7mm/223 is sounds like it is the 7T/CU which is a cartridge designed by Wes Ugalde for Silhouette competitions.

    Thanks for the information, I'll try that websight.

    The brass looks like .308 necked down and is 2.03" in length, so that can't be the B.R. at 1.52".

    Most of the components were not in proper boxes and had no marking, and the 7mm cases were jammed in the B.R. boxes, so your guess of being in the wrong box is right on. I guess that's the fun of buying by the "whole lot", some jewels and some junk.
