  ABOUT THE CARTRIDGE:
  It is supposedly the same dimensions as SSK now uses for their .375 JDJ. I say supposedly because the .375 JDJ formerly had about a .455" shoulder diameter, but according to CH the shoulder diameter was increased somewhere along the way.
  
  
  
  Current CH dies I recently sent out sized to .455" at the shoulder. To have a size difference, I cut the chambers for these dies at .459." This by the way gives a total body taper of about .010" which is slightly straighter than the former version of the .375 JDJ. The straighter the case, the less force is exerted on the frame, and I much prefer this later design.
