    LOOKING TO GET ONE OF THESE RIFLES FROM S.O.G. PRICE SEEMS FAIR. DID ANYONE GET ONE FROM THEM RECENTLY? PRICE IS NO WHERE NEAR THE REAL THING, BUT IS IT WORTH IT @ ~$370.00? THANKS AGAIN IN ADVANCE, GD.

    my friend just bought one a couple months ago,they don't have a good reputation,but he got his from a dealer who did some work to his and now it works great i guess what i'm saying is they are not consistant but if you get a good one they're nice.Also they seem to get a little heavy after shooting a few rounds.Over all i liked his but i think people here won't agree.     I have one which I bought at a show. When I got it to the range I found it shot in full auto. I contacted the dealer I purchased it from and he sent it back to International Arms(?) who fixed it. It now functions properly and it's a great shooter, very accurate. I'm not sure of the ballistics on the .308, but I'm sure it's good out to a coupla' hundred yds. My advice when buying one is to be patient. There are a lot of them around (me anyway) in varying conditions, so you should be able to get what you want for the price you want to pay. Mine's in NRA "good" condition, and with 4 clips and mag pouches plus 500 rds. out the door I paid $250. GL!

    excellent gun for the money...i have two and they both are in perfect condition and have ran many rounds through them with excellent results..just my two cents...tom
