Daewoo, Good? Bad? Advice sought
I have noticed the Daewoo line of arms. They seem to be at a very reasonable price. What's the skinny on this line? Looking at the DP200 rifle and the DP51 pistol. Any advice on the purchase and use of these would be appreciated.

Only have experience with the DP51 (my son's): It is pleasant to shoot and has sufficient accuracy/capacity/size ratio to qualify it as a good carry gun. I like the tr-action feature. His is marked with Kimber as the importer, but I know others followed. I'm not sure that any new ones are coming in.
As for parts availability, I have had firearms for ~40 years. A few have needed parts due to misguided takedown/cleaning/"customization", but never to breakage. Maybe I've been lucky, but needing parts is not like for an automobile where things wear out.
Maybe if I shot 10,000 rounds a year, my guns would need parts. I don't, so that has never been high on my list of considerations as to what to buy. Durability with this one example looks good (no discernible wear after 1000 rounds).
I would give serious consideration to the DP51.0
