Would anyone have experience with this pistol in terms of recommendation? Caliber, reliability, thanks. Bill

Request you verify question. FN49 is a rifle.
...honor is important only when dealng with honorable men.
You asked if I have reverence? I have reverence for truth, but I do not know what truth is. I suspect there are many truths, and therefore, I suspect all who claim to have THE truth. L'Amour0 -
No bud, the FN49 is a pistol. It's available in 9mm and .40S&W. Never have shot the fun, but I have heard a few good things about it. Just wanted to correct "king" though. 0 -
I own a forty-nine in 40 S&W and have fired exactly 200 rounds through it with no malfunctions. It is an excellent gun for the money, the trigger is heavy, but manageable with practice. 0 -

Sorry, you haven't "corrected" me. The FN49 is a rifle. If there is a pistol that goes by that moniker now, fine. That is why I requested verification "Kid".

But......apparently, now there's also an FN Model Forty Nine pistol:

However, for those us that have been around guns for a looooong time, "FN49" conjures up the image of the semi-auto rifle.
Skyking.....got my dual license in a UC-78 "Bamboo Bomber", just like your namesake flew. [:D]0 -
Xracer,
I haven't flown since leaving the service. Not even commercial. I sure do miss it though. Perhaps a jaunt in Civil Aviation may be in my future.
Be careful up there.
