Help! I need some of your mind!! I've got a 223 contender and have purchaced a chamber adapter to 22lr. The 223 shoots about 4" higher than the 22lr at 20 yards. I was hopeing to find a poa that the 2 would equal,preferble 22lp@100-150 and 223 @ 400yds. Not finnished trying yet but doesn't look good! I know there's lots of 22lr with different bullet weights and volocities and was hopeing someone could tell me about the hottest loads capable of chambering with my 22lr adapter in the 223!! Sure could use your brainpower!!Thanks,Wade

  Wade,,,, Even the hottest .22 ammo you could find would never shoot as flat as the .223 round.
  
  A couple of the hot .22's that come to mind are the "Velocitor" and "Stinger" both made by CCI. These bullets, even though fast, are still going only a fraction of the speed of the .223 so they are going to start dropping much sooner.
  The further away from the muzzle the farther apart the 22lr and the .223 are going to be.
