    DAVE thanks for the info i have the original mag for it but not the panels wouldnt you think this would bring down the value of the gun? all the randall a-111 i have seen all have wood panels thanks again,

    It's a Randall, which in my opinion makes it something special, I wouldn't see any serious decrease in value of it, the pach. grips never really appealed to me, so if you're looking for nice wood I might suggest you go to www.cylinder-slide.com
    They have good aftermarket 1911 stuff, go to the grip gallery once in their site, if memory serves me correctly. Of course you could always cruise the auctions here and find a nice set of walnut grips for it.

    Hi Gunner,
    Randall A-111 Service Models all had Herrett checkered walnut stocks. The only model that had Pachmayr's was the A-121 Combat. I worked at Randall from a month after they opened until they closed their doors for good in 1985.
