WITH THE HEAVYER BULLETS I WOULD THINK A 1/9 OR 10 WOULD BE ABOUT RIGHT.

Most commercial 6mm's, .243's, .244's - whatever you want to call them, seem to center on the 1:10 rate. A few are marketed with the 1:9 twist. The Remington 40XB in 6X47 has a rate of 1:12. The 40XBBR has a 1:14 rate.

Used to have a Sako Forester in .243 Win. It had a twist of 1:10 and really stabilized the 85 to 95 grain bullets well.

    Keep off the Ridgeline

Now does any one know where I can get one of these. It must be a the thick barrel. All metal or the light one. It will be going on a VLS

    Thanks
