I was considering getting a C&R license, but am concerned that "C & R elegible" really meany that one is elegible to be awakened at 3am by ATF agents to inspect your records. Paranoia or truth?

Paranoia. You still have Constitutional rights. I've never heard of anyone who had a problem. The Feds have a lot a REAL problems to deal with; they don't need (or want) to harass innocent people.

Concur. Many holders tell me that they have never met an ATF agent.

You asked if I have reverence? I have reverence for truth, but I do not know what truth is. I suspect there are many truths, and therefore, I suspect all who claim to have THE truth. L'Amour

The BATFE does not even have enough field agents to inspect current FFL dealers so collectors are low on their list...until collectors start doing something stupid and then all bets are off! Get the C&R and enjoy.

Get your C&R. You won't regret it. Makes collecting much eaiser and saves you some cash. Just don't do anything stupid like buying a bunch of something to sell to finance your projuct. The C&R is just for you, not your friends.

Please understand. I live in one of the few states that still forbid concealed carry, and in one of the worst counties. Yeah, Cook County, Illinois. FFL dealers are dropping like flies. Depending on who you ask, the dealers either kept sloppy books, or were being attacked with frivilous lawsuits. I just don't want to become another statistic, but find the C&R thing very interesting and attractive.
