Flashlight Questions

I am seeking a flashlight for carry as well as being able to mount it to my shotgun. Also am interested in the brightest availiable lights out right now, brand too. I have heard good things about surefire and streamlight. Just need some feedback on your opinions. Thanks guys.

Surefire has been the choice in my area because of it's compact size and light weight.

Both are great. Be sure to bring extra batteries, as they don't last long.

Surefire work better, the bulb ass'y doesn't pop out under recoil

Another vote for Surefire here.
I use them in the flashlight matches.
They work GREAT for that.

The gene pool needs chlorine.

Surefire. Great ergonomics, well thought out, rugged. Not cheap...
Just slapped one on the old AR...
