    dsphd: This usually takes a gunsmith who know Md 12s, Take your second barrel, put it on the the first setting. Take your first barrel assy and lay it next to the second barrel assy. From the receiver extension, to the edge of the barrel, measure the 1st barrel assy, then the second. They have to be the same length. Not close but identical. They are suppose to be flush with the barrel chamber ring when mated to the receiver. There is little to no tolerance on this. About .002 if I remember right. A gunsmith may have to machine the second barrel assy to the same lenght as the first barrel assy. If you need the name and address of the best Md 12 gunsmith, email me.
