The Savage 210 is an excellent choice for the money. After adjusting the trigger to 3lbs and over travel to where I like it I am shooting 1/2`` 3 shot groups at 50yds using Lightfield Hybred Exp slugs.

I do my shooting using a VARI X III 2.5-8x36mm off of a Harris bipod and a rear bag.

I haven`t had time to test other slugs yet.

The only thing I don`t like about it is that it is only single pillar bedded ahead of the box magazine. You will have to be carefull not to over tighten the trigger guard screws . If you do the bolt won`t open and you may crack the stock.

We would all like to own a TAR-HUNT slug gun but the average person will get as much done with the Savage 210 for a lot less money.

WELL WORTH THE MONEY WHEN PROPERLY TUNED.

my only complaints with the savage is the bolt handle is to large (snags open walking in heavy bush) and the magazine sticks out to far below the stock i would rather on have a two shot then have the mag. extended the way it is. mine shots federal premimums with the barnes sabot very well around 3 inches at 100. it also likes the new winchester supremes with the nosler pistol bullet doesn't shoot them quite as well though. all in all i like the gun and would like see them make one in 20 ga if they don't already
