How to insert pictures

Alright folks, I'm stupid...
HOW do you insert pictures?

"If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. That's ridiculous. If I have a gun, what do I have to be paranoid about?"

    here's what Saxon said above....
    Click on the disc symbol above message box and brackets will apeear like this: Just paste address between the inner brackets leaving no spaces. Pic will open automatically.

    I think it's the insert picture symbol... you may be inserting hyperlink...

    Where are you inserting your pictures to?

    You should check you internet service provider's web site to see if server space is included with your account. Both of the last two ISP's I've had gave 10MB of space with a basic account, which is more than enough for a few pictures. You need to find out what your personal URL is for thier server (that's what you put in the address bar) It will look something like:

    http://www.your_provider.com/~your_username
    or
    http://webpages.your_provider.com/your_username

    you will need an FTP program (file transfer protocol) to copy the pictures to the server. I recomend WS_FTP. It's free for personal use.

    Your ISP's site should have instructions on how to do this. When this is set up. Copy the files to the server.

    To post the picture paste the URL of the picture on the page

    http://www.your_provider.com/~your_username/your_picture.jpg

    other folk's browser will get the picture and display it from the URL (address) This is way easier than it sounds.
