1873 .30 cal. Rem.
Can anyone tell me the collector value of a pistol marked
"E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILLION N.Y. PAT. W.S. SMOOT. OCT. 21, 1873" ?
It has a (5) shot cyl. 13/16 overall .30 cal. rim fire 2-13/16 octagon barrel nickel plated. Wooden grips Serial #1xx
Thanks
George

If the dimensions & s.n. you give are accurate, you apparently have a "REMINGTON-SMOOT NEW MODEL NO.1 REVOLVER", early production variation.
Depending on condition which you didn't elaborate on, Flayderman in his latest guide, values them between $450 & $1,200.0
