beretta 12gauge?
I have a silver snipe passed to me from my father. It's an over/under in real nice shape. What kind of money may this be worth? Thank you!

It's worth around $650 in excellent condition, $350 in good condition. The value varies a little depending on whether it has a single trigger (adds $50+) and it's a little more valuable with a vent rib barrel.
For a more accurate figure you'd probably have to have it appraised, since that is a fairly large price change between excellent and good conditions...
I'd keep it, you can get other guns, but maybe not others given to you by your father (especially if he's passed).
Welcome to GB by the way. [:)]0 -
While you are the only one to really determine what it's realy worth, the fact that it is being passed down as a gift is priceless. Whether you ever use or care to use the shotgun, the value will increase to whom ever you pass it to, beit a clild or grandchild. Its not blood, but it's "in the family". You may want to know the replacement cost for insurance purposes, but the value or what it's worth is up to the holder.[;)] 0
