Will it work in AP-9

  No, but the opposite will work. The AP9 will work in the TEC9, but the TEC9 won't work in the AP9, at least not without modification to the TEC9 mag. There are slight differences between the two. The AP9 is cut a bid lower than the TEC9 mag that is why it will work in the TEC. If a TEC mag is to be used in the AP9, a sling modification to the front of the mag will be needed. With some effort, the aftermarket mags for either gun will interchange with the other.
