WINCHESTER MDL 61 BARREL

Have a friend looking for a winchester mdl. 61 barrel. It's a 1939 built gun that shoots shorts, longs, long rifle. Does anyone know where he could find one and a ballpark figure for what they sell for? Thankyou beltfed.

  If you are lucky enough to locate an original barrel, it will likley cost him several hundred $$$. I would try haunting all of the various auction internet auction sites. What is wrong with the barrel on it now?

  If the barrel is washed out and the exterior is in good condition, perhaps re line the barrel. A good smith will make it nearly invisible.
  Have done many and not very expensive vs cost of a new barrel.
  Brownells sells liners. 101
