Beretta model 70 or 71?
I have acquired a Beretta .22 LR pistol. There are no model markings. Depending upon the source I look at, it is apparently a model 70 or 71, and one source cited it as being a model 100. It is an older model with the push button safety toward the top of the grip frame. I am need of a magazine or two for it. Can anyone help with identification and possibly a source for mags?

There is a really confusing situation regarding the identification of these Beretta's.
The basic series number for these pistols is the "70 series" ( push button safety at top rear of grip ).
Beretta identified the different calibers by the model numbers "M-71", "M-72", etc.etc.
To make a long story short, yours is the "Model-71" also known and marketed as the "Jaguar".
