skinny on Mueller rifle scopes?

I just found a few for sale on ebay, but I've not heard of them.

Anyone own/use one? They have a standard reticle with a very small red dot in the center, usefull when the target is black or shadowed and the reticle will "disapear" before the target.

Any other manufacturer's make something like this? It sure sounds like a good idea.
