co2 pistol

At a very close range shot at a pine squirrel or chipmunk ok to use a new co2 pistol as long as I have my 22.LR with me? And where I squirrel hunt all you get is close range shots. Especially at pine squirrels.

  Heck, I lose a few squirels when I hunt with a 22LR. No telling how many would get back to thier holes if shot with a pellet pistol. So I would suggest; if you want to hunt squirels with a pistol, get one in 22LR caliber.

  I can't think of any CO2 powered pistol that would humanely kill a squirrel. If you are a good enough shot, then by all means, get a .22lr pistol and use it. If you just want to use an airgun, get a rifle, there are quite a few powerful enough (I use a Daystate Hunter PH6 pcp in .22). And remember,PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!
