What kind of pistol is it?
I have a friend that has a pistol that is a 9mm RB Randon that was believed to be made in 1938 on a German frame. He says it was handmade in Belgium and was used in the "Battle of the Bull." I was wondering if anybody new anything about this pistol and if you could tell me anything about. Any information would be appreciated.

Sounds like your friend is fighting the Battle of the Bull! Radoms were made in Poland before the war and were pressed into German service after Poland was overrun in '39.
They are a well made pistol and collectors recognize at least five variations. Radom is the name of the arsenal, the pistol is known as VIS.

Lordy me!! Even after all these years, it never fails to amaze me how these stories continue to surface. Yes, by all means, print out the info on that Radom website, and show it to your friend. Sounds to me like he's so much into his own tale that only the tuth in print is going to change his mind.

Is the "battle of the bull" a reference to the historic WW II event known as the "battle of the bulge"? The "battle of the bull" reference would be appropriate for the daily update given by the Iraqi information officer just before the fall of Bagdad. As I remember he was armed with some sort of handgun, maybe it was a specially built Randon.
