thankyou
Hey thanks for the help. But you guys must not go out on the streets becuase of what I said and you know this is where alot of hunters go and some hunters who will sware in every sentance. So just lighten up you guys because you're to strict. So just cool down and be cool about it. I said that because on other forums i've been on you just get people who dont know what there saying and you belive them do what they say then find out its wrong. So what im saying is I know you talk the same and you dont like getting crap in your stuff. So play it cool and lighten up please and this will be alot funner for the youth hunters of America.

Bob,
Check his previous post and you will understand. He's just learning. No problem. Doug got on him about manners.
Welcome lad. Read and learn not to sweat the small stuff.

You asked if I have reverence? I have reverence for truth, but I do not know what truth is. I suspect there are many truths, and therefore, I suspect all who claim to have THE truth. L'Amour0 -
ISW-YOU STARTED OFF ON THE WRONG FOOT IN YOUR FIRST POST AND STILL WE ALL TRIED TO BE CIVIL ABOUT IT AND NOW YOU ARE BACK TELLING US HOW WE SHOULD BEHAVE ACCORDING TO YOUR STANDARDS. I WOULD DARE SAY THAT WILL NOT BE WELCOME AROUND HERE ANYMORE UNLESS YOU COME FORTH WITH A SINCERE AND RESPECTFUL APOLOGY. THE PEOPLE HERE ARE TRYING TO TEACH YOU NOT ONLY ABOUT FIREARMS , BUT ALSO ABOUT RESPECT AND HUMILITY.
THE CHOICE IS YOURS.

Dude. When you're in somebody else's house, you comply with their rules. It's not a big deal. Just remember it's not just your forum, it belongs to everyone. Maybe you need to lighten up. It's cool. I'm a new guy too. I think you'll find that people involved with firearms are different from those in other forums. That's because it takes a certain degree of maturity and responsibility to handle firearms. O.K. That said, welcome. You said nothing that most of us have not said at one time or another. NO BIG DEAL.

Glad that you came back with some sort of explanation of your post. I can understand what you've said.
I've only been here a couple of months myself, and this forum is WAY different than any other that I've experienced. I picture it like hanging around in an old gun shop, with a bunch of very knowledgable guys, sitting on stools, drinking coffee and helping each other out - maybe buying a gun from time-to-time.
These people care about each other, they care about the history and development of firearms, the history and glory and lore of our Country. There is a lot of humor here - some at various members expense. They respect each other - even the ones they strongly disagree with - and feel free to speak their minds. They welcome new-comers and give them quite a bit of slack.
These folks actually go SEE each other, hunt together, drink together, and... sometimes cry together.
So... grab some coffee, pull up a stool, talk a little, ask some questions, listen a lot... and be welcome.
I don't know a lot - but I know I like it here. So will you.
By the way - you might spend some time on the "General Discussion" forum. Sometimes it's a real E Ticket ride.

Welcome to the forum.
I might suggest using fewer "contemporary" phrases, such as you guys must not go out on the streets becuase of what I said...be cool about it...you dont like getting crap in your stuff...play it cool.
Most of the guys (and gals) here are a little older and don't have a clue what these type comments mean. Try your best to speak our language if you want our positive comments in return.
Respectfully,
