They are reloadable using special bullets made by USAC. They can be hard to find and more expensive than conventional .38 bullets. I have a small collection of ammo and bullets. If you would like to sell your cases for a reasonable price, I might be interested.

They date to the mid 80's, when I was in the business. It was interesting concept BUT I believe the plastic caseings, were there downfall. Folks just didn't trust them.
The projectiles were tmj and had a internal flange around the circumference that snapped into the cartridge case. I also vaguely remember a little reloading kit for primeing the fired cases.
Like the old story goes, it was a good idea but it was "ahead of it's time".

The cases tended to fracture even on the initial firing. I've picked up loaded ammo for less than I'd pay for standard brass. What you have is, sorry to say, junk.

farfrom - if you are willing to pay the shipping, I'd be glad to send you a few rounds of the original ammo; however the freight will be far more than you will pay for a round or two from some dealer's junk box if you keep your eyes open in shops and at shows.

Iconoclast-Thanks for the offer, but I don't really need them. I've picked up some at gunshows and now have enough that I will probably shoot some to see how they work out. I also have one of the reloading tools and boxes of bullets. Also have a sample box of ammo.

A BAD DAY OF HUNTING IS BETTER THAN A GOOD DAY AT WORK!
