cant identify a pistol

i was left a pistol,an automatic and i cant make out what kind it is,it is in it's own holster with a place for its clip and also a cleaning rod or a tool,im not sure,but i could send someone a picture of the gun,if anyone thinks they could identify it for me,,, i appreciate any help...thanks ran.......ran_4_u@yahoo.com

    Possibly a Tokerev,had a mag pouch and cleaning rod

    The P-08 also had those features, the P-38 might have had them, and there not unusual features in eurepon military holsters.
    Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.

    There are literally dozens of European (and other) military pistols that had their own holsters with a spare magazine and cleaning tool.

    If you can't supply a picture, give us as detailed description of the pistol as you can and ALL of the writing on it.
