    It sounds like it could be a Lew Horton S&W Special. S&W made special runs for Lew Horton, and they usually had 3" barrels. This is just a guess.

    Yeah, I was just looking around lew horton's website trying to figure it out. I like the gun quite a bit, and it was a great deal($300), and is a great shooter. I just wish i could find more information.Thanks for responding tho

    Look on the Smith & Wesson web site. For a few bucks and some info about your gun thay can give you the history of the weapon. I have a
    686 that was made for sale only at their retail stores (all closed now) Although 400 were planned only 100 were made. The letter I have from them was very detailed and I feel makes the gun worth a bit more.
