Value/Trade of Sig 220ST
I have only sold and traded used guns with my friends in the past, and therefore no NRA grading system was necessary. Now I am looking to sell or trade my one-year-old Sig 220ST .45 ACP in order to get a carry-weapon (Sig 245 or HK USPC). I carry mostly when hiking/fishing/hunting, and the full frame stainless which is great in competition is too heavy and big for my uses.
The pistol is in flawless condition, has had 100 rounds of quality factory (230 gr. FMJ) fired through it (very good accuracy, on par with my friend's competition custom - yes, he's pissed since he paid almost $2k for his; but overall flawless functioning), and has only been cleaned/preserved since in the safe since I decided competing wasn't my bag.
Any ideas on value short of pulling out one of the firearms blue books? BTW, The pistol was purchased when I lived in CA, now live in WA.

One of the ways I value guns (besides a book) is to look them up under "completed auctions" here at GB, and see what people have been "bidding" for them. (does not mean they sold) Gives you a real world price on what people are willing to pay.
