sks differences
My son was yearning for an SKS years back. I did't see much reasoning there, but for a little over $100 (NIB)I bought him one made by Norinco. My dad was always against 'wasting ammo'.... but I must say, with cheap ammo my son got me into flingin lead 'till you smell a smokin stock.
I have two questions.
1. When will you shoot out something like his SKS ? (it never group great to begin with)
2. Are there differences in durability in some of the ones (Yugo, etc) that are flooding the market today ?

Guss, this is a question that cannot be answered with any real degree of accuracy. This particularly applies to the Chinese SKS's, as they vary wildly in quality.
Once more, I highly recommend that you go to www.surplusrifle.com, where you'll find just about anything about the SKS that you want to know. (As well as a BUNCH of other rifles.)0
