Adjusting Trigger on Weatherby Vanguard

I recently aquired a 270 Vanguard and would like to get the trigger adjusted. It has a lot of creep and is the pull is to hard for long range shooting. What is a fair price to pay for a trigger job? I heard from another source that the vanguard needs a modified spring and can be unsafe if job is not done correctly.
