Waffenfabrik Schmidt GmbH Sierra 22
I just bought a pair of Waffenfabrik Schmidt GmbH Sierra 22. These .22 Mags are in original box, with all original parts. They are chrome with the stag-type grips and they are a beauty. Funny thing is, is that the serial numbers are in sequential order. I have been trying to do some research on them and I would like to know how much they are worth, what year they were made, or basically anything about them. I can't seem to find much on them but if you could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Your revolvers were made by the Herbert Schmidt Company of Ostheim Germany.
Schmidt started manufacturing firearms in the early 60's. They were inexpensive and sold under different names by various U S importers.
The Gun Control Act of 1968 had a negative effect on the sales of many of Schmidt's handguns, as it curtailed the importation of many inexpensive revolvers and automatics.
As you describe your revolvers as being consecutively numbered and NIB, they would probably have more value than a typical Schmidt handgun which usually goes for $75 to $150.0
