Game finders

Bushnell Boy
Has anybody used these and how well do they work. I am interested in getting one of these but I can't find very much info on them.     what everybodys opinion on game finders are they any good or just a gimmick ??

    I have one, I won't say they don't work but I couldn't use mine on a sunny day, every tree with the sun shinning on it set it off. They are sensative and I think with some practice will work after dark or when it's overcast. The thing is you will need to know about where your animal is to use it. And I have seen deer with Ice and snow on their back. they work off of heat, a deer like that might be hard to find? Good luck.

    I bought the middle priced model at Cabelas.Worked at learning to use it on my dog and the neighbors dog for 2 or 3 Hrs.I found it almost useless. Called Cabelas and they said to return it for refund.






    I am confused at times.

    We park on driveways,

    and drive on parkways.

    I had one of the best Game Finder Pro models and we experimented quite extensively with it. It would often get a "hit" in the middle of a large mowed lawn where nothing appeared, yet failed to pick up my friend (6'2" - 225, nor his 75 pound dog). It wouldn't find game birds even if pointed directly at them at nearly point-blank range on a below-freezing day.
    I traded it for a scope after spending probably 60 hours tinkering with it and I'll never get another one - at least until they can prove without a shadow of a doubt that it works... The ones the fire departments have sure work! [:D]

    Best "gamefinder" I know of is a buddy with a 2-way in a hot air balloon! Unfortunately, NM law says it's illegal!
