Savage Supersporter Problems

Got a Savage S.S. in 30-06. Shoots bulls-eye at 50 yards. Move down to 100 and sprays with no consistency. Bought a new scope for my model 700 270 and put the old scope on the Savage. Same results. Barrel seems to be free floating. Do the experts have any ideas? Thanks, B.C..[xx(]

  I have an old SSS and never had the problem you describe, maybe you might be flinching when pulling the trigger? I would try it in a bench rest just to be sure.
