Anyone have an opinion on it? Seems to be a good deal if it shoots near as good as the 700.

I never thought very highly of 710 when I sold them. They had a recall on the safety when they first came out and felt kind of cheap. I was sold on one two weeks ago though when a friend took his to the range. I had just put a new scope on it for him and we were sighting it in. After we got it sighted in at50yards we moved it out to100His first five shots were all within a 1 inch group. This was using core lock ammo. I didn't think any gun could shoot that ammo that well but I guess it took a cheap gun to shoot cheap ammo well.

I had one and really didnt like it from day 1. The mag catch broke on it and I had to send in the whole gun. The whole thing felt kind of cheap too. For the money I would go with a savage or something.

Hello, they suck. Action is too sticky and the stock is butt ugly.

Hello, stay away from them. They are being discountinued and they are cheap pieces of S@#T. If you buy one don't forget to bring your key. You'll need it to fire the piece of s%&t.[xx(]. Just my opinion.

I know two different people that own them in .270 and they are very satisfied. I know that they shoot well and as long as it functions like it is suppose to, what difference does it make if they aren't as expensive as other Remingtons, Winchesters, Weatherbys, Rugers or Brownings. For the money I just don't think that you can beat it.

GUNMAN4FUN, has a point about a 'new' rifle but since this rifle has "compressed" fitting's what about 2,3 4,5 or 10 years down the road...rifle is junk...but it's your money...
