Burris is a high quality scope with fine optics and durability, built in the US. A Signature would be a better choice than a full field, for the fully multi-coated optics.

Any scope can have a defect that gets past the inspectors - ANY scope.

Burris is indeed a quality scope and should suit your needs just fine. I try to stick with US made scopes (Burris, Leupold, and formerly, Redfiedl and Weaver) for not only quality but to keep the money at home, where it belongs. I know some european scopes are being assembled here now, but the profits go back overseas.

I NOTHING BUT GOOD TO SAY ABOUT BURRIS SCOPES. I CURRENTLY HAVE 4. THEY RANGE IN AGE FROM 1 YEAR OLD TO 20+ YEARS FOR A 6X FULLFIELD THAT I PUT ON MY BROWING BL22 AND HAVE USED TO KILL PROBABLY MORE THAN A 1000 JACKRABBITS IN THE ARIZONA DESERT AND THAT SCOPE HAS BEEN TREATED ROUGH AND STILL WORKS GREAT. BURRIS AND LEUPOLD ARE USA MADE AND QUALITY ALL THE WAY. OTHER THAN SNOB APPEAL I CAN'T SEE ANY REASON TO BUY FOREIGN MADE SCOPES (SOME ARE VERY NICE THOUGH). IT'S TIME TO TRY AND KEEP AS MUCH OF OUR $ HERE AT HOME IN THE USA AS POSSIBLE.

Your wise choise is the Burris or a Leupold. Both are quality scopes you will still be satisfied with 30 years from now.

    My 2.5-cents worth,
