HELP !!!! I WANT TO BUY A SNIPER AND I KNOW ALL OF THESE MODELS ARE GOOD, I'M JUST WONDERING WHICH MODEL IS THE BEST AND MOST ACCURATE FOR THOSE REALLY LONG SHOTS, THE MODEL REMINGTON 700 PSS OR THE REMINGTON 700 VS OR THE REMINGTON 700 TR OR ANY OTHER REMINGTON MODEL TO CHOOSE FROM THATS NOT WAY OUT THERE ON PRICE, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE ANYONE'S HELP WHO REALLY KNOWS THERE SNIPER RIFLES, THANK YOU ALL, BEST REGARDS MARK = email jafomb11@aol.com or 1-414-358-2606

If it's a Remington you can't go wrong. It all comes down to you need to use that one gun and know it inside and out. JFK was killed with a $12 Carcano, it doesn't take a fortune to have a good rifle or be good with it.

Think I'd go with the PSS, but there's an article in "Rifleshooter", Jan./Feb. 2004, Pg. 40, by Bruce Gray, "Hit at 1,000: (etc.)" and he chose the VLS model mostly because he liked the stock better. This is sort of a new magazine and can't be found everywhere, so if you want a copy of the article e-mail me your U.S.P.O. address and I'll send you a xerox of the article.

111 let me ask you this first whats your idea of a long shot,there are alot of experts that know about rifles that can shoot some distance,but first you have to know how far,and second are you shooting targets ,elk ,etc......[?]
