    My references notes that the Page-Lewis Arms Co. was only in business for a short time after the First World War ( circa, 1920-25 ).
    Problem is that there production was only reported to be single shot .22 rifles, not handguns. Either you have a very rare example of a liittle known Page-Lewis handgun, OR a cut down rifle, i.e. made into a handgun.
    This type of conversion is severely frowned on by a certain segment of the law enforcement community who is responsible for enforcing the Federal Firearms Statutes.
    It would not be prudent in my opinion to display or advertise to the general public your Grandfathers pistol, it might cause serious repercussions!
